YAY! It's the religion issue! Controversy is good! I was talking to one of my Australian friends and she said that none of the Australian politicians had mentioned the HIV puppet coming to Takalani Sesame. Whereas, of course, the US politicians had demanded that PBS guarentee that the HIV puppet wasn't coming to the US. What a bunch of fuckers. The US is founded by Religious people, and we act like shitheads. Australia's founded by convicts, and they're allright. You religious people don't have the market on morality cornerd, you know. In fact, I think religious people are very immoral. How can you justify hating people just because of who they love? "The Bible says it is" Well, so fucking what? Grow up. I would think God would want you to be the best people you can, not a bunch of shitheads that go around hating other people because some 4000 year old book said to. Think for yourselves, be the best person you can, and try to make life better for everyone. That's what should get you into heaven, not just because you follow a particular religion. You should have to work at it, not just get in because that!

All too often, people use religion as an excuse to hate each other, and that's wrong. You give mouth time to saying "Religion's all about loving thy neighbor" Then why don't you? "because they're living in sin" According to who? You? Who made you the final arbitor of what's moral? "According to the Bible" A 4000 year old book tells you how to live your life? Why not think for yourself? "That's too hard" No one said life was easy, chum. "but it's the word of God" Says who?! The guys who wrote it? You don't believe in Greek myths do you? They thought their stuff was the word of their gods too. Do you pray to Thor? No? Why not, he was a god. Oh, he's not THE god. How do you know? "Faith" Yeah, well I say that your faith is only important to you. Faith is your relationship to your god, nothing more, nothing less. You have faith that your god exists, but someone else might not. Someone else might believe in the same god as you, but for different reasons. Faith is a personal issue, and shouldn't be forced on other people. "but if we don't do that, they'll end up in hell" I've already said what I think should get you into Heaven, so your point is irrelevant.

Your religion is what you believe. It shouldn't be forced on other people because what you believe is private. People should be the best people they can be, and they should try to make the world better. That's what should get you into heaven, no matter what religion you believe.

3 posts! Don't go into coniptions! One of the people I talk to online was recently (roughly 10 minutes ago) introduced to my blog. He was reading my idea for a Bond movie (7/16/2002) "That Day Never Comes" and stupidly thought that I had spoiled "Die Another Day" for him. What a frigging moron!

Wow, two posts in as many days. You guys never had it so good! My rant: California! Damn, I hate California. All the good comic/anime cons happen there! Why is that bad? Well in an absolute sense, it's not. But this is about me! It sucks because I live 2 states away, making all that stuff tantalizingly close, yet far enough away to make going to them hard. DAMN YOU, CALIFORNIA. DAMN YOU TO HELL!
